What a stormy spring and summer it’s been. I wonder what the fall will bring. All the storms have meant many toppled trees and downed limbs for property owners across the country.

Following each storm, the hum of chain saws was a common sound. While some people paid to have the trees removed, others volunteered to help cut wood for future use in their wood stoves and fireplaces.
