Based on the present reliance of US Agribusiness on petroleum based fuels, fertilizers and lubricants… what are the true energy costs of producing a bushel of corn, transporting it to my home and finally burning it in one of your beautiful stoves? Also, regardless what fuel you burn, there are chemical by-products that enter the atmosphere. Could you give me a breakdown on the by-product issues as it compares to each type of fuel that could be used in your stoves?

Great site!
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your questions Duane. The true cost of heating with corn will vary depending on no-till farming or traditional, what area of the country you are from, etc. but information received by “real customers” is what we go by instead of lab tests that can be slanted. As stated, the average customer will see a 60% Net savings in their heating costs after taking everything into consideration.

There is always a combustion byproduct but I am proud to be able to say that when the MagnuM product line was tested in a blind study against several of our competitors we came out on top. We are emitting only 1.7 g/p/hr of emissions with corn and less than 1 g/p/hr with wood pellets. this is extremely low and proves that heating with alternative fuels is the right answer to cleaning up our environment while also cleaning up on lowering our heating bills.

Thanks for showing a genuine interest in our environment. Together, we can do our share to protect our world from polution and also preserved our precious resources for our children and grandchildren.
